To be honest
Free means free. The catch is the support.
Zytfenster costs nothing, with all features and all updates, for as long as you like. What I can’t offer for free is my time. If you need help, you pay for it. That’s all there is to it.
When Zytfenster isn’t the right fit (yet)
- Several people with their own calendars. A practice with three therapists currently needs three accounts. I’m working on it.
- Payment when booking. Zytfenster takes appointments, not money.
- Group classes with a fixed number of places. There are better tools for that.
- Booking page and admin area in French, Italian and English. On the way, but not here yet. For now, the app itself is in German only.

Zytfenster runs on my Swiss hosting at app.zytfenster.ch. You just share your booking page. The first year comes to CHF 410, then 10 francs a month.

Who’s behind Zytfenster
Hello, I’m Arto
My name is Arto Steiner, and I’ve been building websites for Swiss SMEs and self-employed professionals for many years. Zytfenster came about because a web designer was looking for a booking tool for her client: simple, with photo upload and with proper data protection. She couldn’t find one.
Zytfenster is a small product of my own. If you write to me, I’ll answer you myself.
And what if I’m not around one day? The code and data stay with you, and Zytfenster keeps running. There just wouldn’t be any more updates.
